Privacy notice
This notice explains what happens to the details you send us through the enquiry form on this website.
Who is responsible
The controller of your details is BluePrint Signal Group Ltd, the holding company of the BluePrint group, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17552632), with its registered office at 36 Marina Road, Formby, Liverpool L37 6BP. Our contact details are in the last section of this notice.
What the form collects
- your name
- your email address
- the BluePrint company your enquiry is for
- your message
We do not ask for anything else.
Why we use it
We use these details to reply to your enquiry, and for nothing else. We do not use them for marketing, and we do not sell or share them for advertising.
Where it goes
Where online sending is set up, your enquiry goes to our own mailbox at hello@blueprintsignalgroup.co.uk (job interest goes to careers@blueprintsignalgroup.co.uk). Where it is not, the form offers to open an email to that address in your own mail app, and nothing is sent until you send it.
Who else handles it
Email is provided by Microsoft 365, which stores our mail in UK data-centre regions where the service allows. Our website is hosted by nLighten, which serves the pages and acts for us as a processor; like most hosts, it may keep short-lived technical server logs (such as the address a request came from, the time and the page asked for) for security and fault-finding. If you message us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp handles the message under its own terms, and we use your number only to reply. If you call us, calls are handled through a cloud phone service. We do not pass your details to anyone else, except where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your enquiry until it is closed, and for no more than 12 months.
If you register interest in a job
The jobs form also collects the role you are interested in and, if you choose to give them, a phone number and a link to your CV or profile. We use these details only to consider you for that role or a similar one, and to contact you when it opens. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before a possible contract of employment or engagement.
We keep your details for 6 months after a decision, then delete them. If you tick the box to stay on file, we keep them for up to 12 months. If we offer you a role, we check your right to work, and any other checks the role needs are explained to you first. Only the people deciding on the role see your details.
Cookies and similar storage
Without your agreement, this website sets no cookies. It uses the browser's sessionStorage in three places only: to remember that the intro has played, to remember that the opening demo has played, and to limit how often a form can be sent. This is cleared when you close the tab. It also keeps your cookie choice in your browser's localStorage so we do not ask you again on every page.
If you press Accept analytics, we load Google Analytics (provided by Google). It sets cookies whose names begin with _ga and sends anonymous usage data to Google, such as the pages you view, roughly where you are and what device you use. We use it only to count visits and see which pages are read. Advertising features and Google signals are switched off. Google may process this data outside the UK; see Google's own privacy information for how.
If you press Reject, nothing is requested from Google and no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings button at the foot of every page. Choosing Reject there also removes any analytics cookies this site has set.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask us for a copy of your details, to have them corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to our use of them, and to receive them in a portable form. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you are unhappy with how we have handled your details.
Changes to this notice
We review this notice at least once a year and whenever what we do with your details changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
